Underwood University Hosts PhD Colloquium on Intercultural Global Leadership
Underwood University successfully hosted the PhD in Intercultural Global Leadership (IGL) Colloquium from November 18 to November 27, 2024. This premier academic seminar brought together scholars, lecturers, and experts for an engaging series of discussions focused on leadership in an increasingly interconnected world.
Rooted in the Latin term colloquium, meaning an informal academic gathering, this intensive program explored cutting-edge leadership strategies for managing institutions and global missions. Participants had the opportunity to attend expert-led lectures, engage in interactive Q&A sessions, and analyze strategic management decisions essential for global competitiveness.
The PhD IGL Colloquium is part of a broader academic initiative held in Seoul, Korea; Suwanee, USA; and other locations worldwide, offering immersive learning experiences tailored to students’ study locations. The event culminated in student reports synthesizing research, data, and expert insights, reinforcing the university’s commitment to academic excellence and global leadership development.
