Underwood University Hosts Business Plan Competition for MBA and STEM MBA Students
Underwood University successfully hosted its annual Business Plan Competition on October 25, 2024, at the main campus in Suwanee, GA. This exciting event provided MBA and STEM MBA students with the opportunity to showcase their entrepreneurial skills, present innovative business ideas, and compete for scholarships and cash prizes.
The competition featured five finalist teams, each presenting a comprehensive business plan covering market feasibility, financial projections, and strategic planning. A panel of business faculty and industry professionals evaluated the submissions based on feasibility, professionalism, and overall quality.
Winners Announced
After a series of compelling presentations, the first-place award was granted to Team Scentastic, whose business concept impressed the judges with its strong market appeal and profitability potential. The winning team members received a total prize of $5,000 distributed among them.
Competition Overview
• Top 5 teams each received a $500 scholarship (or tuition refund).
• Finalists delivered 20-minute presentations followed by a 10-minute Q&A session.
• Judges deliberated on the best business proposals before announcing the winners.
