Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in the requisite field of instruction (Master’s or terminal degree given preference; and a terminal degree is required for graduate instruction).
Teaching experience and references required.

Part- and Full-time Faculty Positions available: English/ESL instructor
Description
Adjunct instructor of English and ESL.
Responsibilities
- Develop student skills in in English grammar, academic writing, and communication in mainly international students. No knowledge of foreign languages is required, but flexibility and adaptability in teaching is necessary.
- Conduct ESL instruction based on existing curriculum and texts.
- Should be comfortable with online as well as in-person instruction.
- Create syllabi and lesson plans based on existing templates.
- Maintain complete and accurate student records, including grades, attendance, etc.
- Abide by Underwood University rules and policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum BA in English, English Literature, or a related field (MA in English, TESOL, or a related field preferred).
- CELTA or other ESL qualification a plus.
- Previous post-secondary teaching experience preferred but not required.
